I'm international!
My secret santa gift came from a neighbor to the north! from another country! I'm international baby!
I got my secret santa package in the mail 2 days ago and like a good little do-bee, I waited until this morning to open it.
I got me some new tunes! Specifically, an awesome mix of songs ranging from Bob Dylan to Ben Harber to Sam Cooke to Ray Charles to Procol Harum with a bunch of others thrown in. Secret Santa....you've got some damn fine taste in music.
The disc went into the kitchen cd player and accompanied Cheryl and I as we made our christmas breakfast. We both got our groove on over eggs, hash browns, coffee and o.j.
Thanks you thank you thank you and a joyous holiday season to you and yours.
P.S...
Can you send me the track list? there are a couple of songs on there that I wasn't familiar with and I want (need) to know who they are!
I have to thank you, I don't know how you did it but you managed to hit the nail on my pointy little head dead center with that gift.
Hon you gave me a gift that my soul HAD to have, and I didn't even know it existed until I opened that package--early because I suck--and saw it staring back at me.
I tell you that book glowed. It glowed like the lamp in the window in the movie, You'll shoot your eye out, what's the name of that movie, oh yeah, A Christmas Story...only the book is cool and that lamp, heh, heh, well, heeeeeee it WAS funny, wa'n't?
It spoke to me, it said, remeber the power of your words and your pictures Lori, and teach it to your students so that they may be more articulate in their means of communicating too.
Jonathan thank you sincerely from the bottom of my drama queen heart.
And before I go...just a little something...for you, eww eee, eww ah ah, ting tang walla walla....
You're very welcome! I *would* have included an extra special bonus CD cover (with track listing) and actually TWO more CDs as well, however my Computer decided it wanted to break down the last two weeks...BUT as I now have my computer back and it is *hopefully* prepared, I'll be sending all those above along as soon as I can...(I'll try to post you the track list in the next day or so!)

Ron's now co-group DJ. Sharing the title with you, Alpharat and Jamoker, of course. Surely something can be done for Zilla so that we all don't have to mail her iPod around the country, though it would be fun taking photos, like the "sisterhood of the totally inconceivable that four girls can wear the same pants" club.
Actually, I had devised this plan, see, for packing up the Pod along with several pre-labeled FedEx small boxes (Mr Z's corp account), just to make things easier on everyone. Then it occurred to me -- why would anyone (except ludite-me)involve packaging and trucks and planes for the transfer of digital files? DOH! Yes, Ms Monkeybrains finally figured out how to sync (with the help of an eleven year-old). DOH DOH DOH!
