A splash of home
Mostly from following 'zillas links, I have seen a lot of snippets of y'alls lives and surroundings. I thought I would share a little holiday cheer from my corner of the internet.

When you come into the house, you are greeted by Carleigh. She's the sad looking dog on my banner. She doesn't normally look that sad, but dogs just have that ability.

If he's not feeling too lazy, you may also be greeted by Merlin. Merlin takes after me. He likes to eat and drink, has a big tummy, and loves to lounge in the comfy chair.

Once the animal greetings are done and you look up, the first thing you see is this painting. My fiancee Cheryl painted it. She's part native american. Her tribe was the Samish tribe...a peaceful fishing tribe in northern washington state. The painting is of a huge totem that is in Washington called Samish maiden.

These are some of my martini glasses. If it's not ketel one on the rocks with a splash of lime, it's a vodka martini, shaken, stirred, who gives a crap?

I used to smoke like a chimney. Here are some of my antique cigarette lighters

Here is the comfy chair that Merlin and I fight over

Here is our Christmas Tree.

This is my favorite ornament. It's a little yarn reindeer head that Cheryls daughter made about 25 years ago. If you squeeze the sides the mouth opens and you can put candy in there. He is missing an eye. Lots of our ornaments are misfits.

Happy Holidays.

I had a cat named Merlin once.

I also had a bong named Merlin, come to think of it.

They both stunk up my college apartment pretty well.

I love the Christmas Tree of Misfit Ornaments! Merlin is ... handsomely girthful, isn't he? I was going to use the little "f" word that means slightly more than ubby-chay, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings.

Very groovy post, very groovy pad. Give the animal friends a little scritch-scritch behind the ears from me.

Damn man you seem to have good taste in everything! Your digs are beautiful, and so is your fiancé. I love her painting it’s monumental, and very structurally sound.

My son had a cat named Merlin, he called him Merl a lot. Way to make a beautiful druid name sound redneck.

    Happy Christmas
